History

A sun-kissed counterpart to the Tchanqué Rouge, the Tchanqué Soleil captures the spirit of Atlantic summers and the gentleness of the Bassin d'Arcachon. Inspired by the light on the water, the freshness of the pines and the sea winds of the Gascon coast, it reveals a brighter and more vivid expression of the terroir. A fresh and fruity creation, conceived as another way of savouring the art de vivre of the South-West.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

From the very first glance, the Tchanqué Soleil reveals a vivid pale gold colour, crossed with subtle silvery reflections that recall the shifting light over the Bassin d'Arcachon. Clear and luminous, it delicately catches the light in the glass and gives it back with elegance. This fresh and crystalline colour instantly evokes summer days, sea spray and the gentle pleasure of seaside aperitifs.

Aromatic profile

The first nose opens with citrus notes, where lemon and grapefruit bring a vivid and bright freshness, subtly softened by touches of white flowers. The heart then reveals a softer and more velvety expression around white peach and a light apricot, bringing roundness and delicacy to the whole. Finally, the base gives way to mineral notes and a fine herbal bitterness, extending the tasting with freshness, balance and elegance.

TASTING

Direct and lively from the very first taste, the palate reveals a bright freshness carried by citrus, opening with finesse and elegance. White peach then settles delicately in the mid-palate, bringing a soft and luminous texture, supported by a subtle minerality evoking the sandy soils and the iodised air of the Bassin d'Arcachon. The tasting extends into a clean, fresh and thirst-quenching finish, leaving a pleasant sensation of lightness. Best enjoyed over ice with a slice of lemon, ideally paired with oysters, grilled prawns or seafood tapas.
